Multiplatform ecosystems and attacks on health information integrity: impacts, dissemination patterns and mitigation strategies
Description: The dissemination of misinformation has compromised vaccine adherence and public health measures, fueling distrust in science and making health decisions more difficult. The project aims to develop monitoring strategies to combat misinformation in health, focusing on infant vaccine coverage. It will use quantitative and qualitative approaches, including complex network analysis, text mining, Machine Learning, and agent modeling, as well as multimodal linguistic analysis. A predictive model will be used to assess the impact of misinformation.

Webscraping and Digital Humanities: Sociology, History and Political Science
Description: The project aims to create tools for collecting and analyzing data from digital social networks, websites, and public data repositories through: a) Programming languages: R, Python, Java, and PHP for webscraping and/or data mining; b) CAQDAS tools such as ATLAS.ti; c) Data visualization tools: Gephi, NodeXL, Netvizz.
